(Quran KSU)

(Quran KSU)

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

(Quran KSU)

(Quran KSU)

(Quran KSU)

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

(Quran KSU)

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

(Quran KSU)

Prophetic Sayings, Statements of the Righteous, and Lessons from the Lives of the Pious

Introduction: The Victory of Truth

One of the great themes of the Qur'an and Sunnah is that truth ultimately prevails, and that Allah has promised support to His messengers and the believers.

Allah says:

“Indeed, Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.”
Qur'an 22:40

And He says:

“O you who believe! If you support Allah, He will support you and make your feet firm.”
Qur'an 47:7

The meaning of “supporting Allah” is not that Allah needs anyone's help—far from it. Rather, it means supporting His religion, obeying His commands, standing for truth, justice and righteousness, and remaining faithful to the Qur'an and the Sunnah.

1. The Prophet ﷺ and the Continuing Presence of Truth

One of the most important prophetic statements concerning the future of Islam is the authentic hadith:

“A group of people from my Ummah will continue to remain triumphant upon the truth, and those who oppose them will not harm them, until the command of Allah comes.”

This narration is recorded in Sahih Muslim 1920. (Sunnah)

Another authentic narration states that a group from the Ummah will continue to prevail upon the truth until the command of Allah comes. (Islamweb)

What does this mean?

It does not necessarily mean that Muslims will always be the strongest politically, economically or militarily.

Rather, it means that the truth of Islam will not disappear from the earth.

There will always be people who preserve:

  • faith;

  • knowledge;

  • worship;

  • truthfulness;

  • justice;

  • righteousness;

  • sincere teaching and calling to Allah.

This is one of the greatest sources of hope for Muslims.

2. The Victory of Islam Is Not Limited to Military Power

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

When we speak about the victory and supremacy of Islam, we should not reduce the meaning to military or political power.

Islam can be victorious through:

Knowledge

When ignorance is replaced by beneficial knowledge.

Faith

When hearts return to Allah.

Justice

When people refuse oppression.

Character

When Muslims embody honesty, mercy and generosity.

Worship

When prayer, Qur'an and remembrance of Allah become central to people's lives.

Da'wah

When the message of Islam is presented with wisdom and good manners.

Allah says:

“Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction.”
Qur'an 16:125

Thus, one of the greatest forms of serving Islam is to become a person whose character reflects the values of Islam.

3. “Whoever Shows Hostility to a Friend of Mine…”

Among the most important sacred traditions concerning the righteous is the hadith:

“Whoever shows hostility to a devoted servant of Mine, I declare war upon him…”

This hadith is recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari. (Hadith Prophet)

The hadith then explains that the servant draws closer to Allah through the obligations and voluntary acts of worship.

This teaches us something very important:

Who are the true friends of Allah?

Allah Himself answers:

“Indeed, the friends of Allah—there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. Those who believed and were mindful of Allah.”
Qur'an 10:62–63

Therefore, true sainthood in Islam is fundamentally based upon:

faith + piety + obedience to Allah.

It is not simply a matter of extraordinary stories or supernatural events.

4. Bilal ibn Rabah: Steadfastness Under Persecution

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Among the most famous examples of steadfastness in early Islam is Bilal ibn Rabah, may Allah be pleased with him.

He endured persecution because of his faith.

The famous phrase associated with his steadfastness is:

“Ahad, Ahad” — “One, One.”

Meaning that Allah is One.

The great lesson from Bilal's story is not hatred or revenge.

It is:

A person may lose material freedom, but faith can remain free.

His story became an enduring symbol of patience, monotheism and steadfastness.

When relating details of early Islamic history, however, it is important to distinguish between what is established by authentic reports and what became famous through later historical and devotional literature.

5. The People of the Trench: Remaining Faithful Under Extreme Persecution

Image

Image

Image

The Qur'an tells the story of the People of the Trench in Surat al-Buruj.

Allah says:

“Slain were the companions of the trench, the fire supplied with fuel, when they were sitting around it, and they were witnessing what they were doing to the believers.”

Then Allah says:

“And they resented them for no reason other than that they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy.”

The central lesson is profound:

Oppression may harm the body, but it cannot force a sincere believer to abandon faith.

The story teaches courage, patience and certainty in Allah.

6. The Prophet ﷺ and the Strong Believer

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, while there is good in both.”

This hadith is recorded in Sahih Muslim.

The strength referred to here should not be understood merely as physical strength.

It includes:

  • strength of faith;

  • strength of character;

  • strength of determination;

  • beneficial knowledge;

  • patience;

  • responsibility;

  • ability to do good;

  • reliance upon Allah.

A strong Muslim is therefore not simply someone who can defeat another person.

A truly strong believer is someone who can control his anger, resist temptation, remain patient, speak truthfully and continue doing good during hardship.

7. Abu Bakr and the Strength of Certainty

Image

Image

Image

During the Hijrah, the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه were in the cave.

The Qur'an records the Prophet's words:

“Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us.”
Qur'an 9:40

These words summarize an entire school of tawakkul—reliance upon Allah.

The believers may experience fear, difficulty and uncertainty.

But faith teaches them not to surrender to despair.

The lesson

Real strength is not the absence of fear.

It is having faith while facing fear.

8. “Allah Has Written: I Will Surely Prevail”

Allah says:

“Allah has written: ‘I will surely prevail, I and My messengers.’ Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.”
Qur'an 58:21

This is a powerful promise concerning the ultimate victory of the divine message.

However, this verse should not be interpreted to mean that every individual Muslim group will win every worldly conflict.

Believers can be tested.

They can experience hardship.

They can temporarily lose worldly power.

The Qur'an itself records that prophets and righteous people suffered enormously.

The ultimate victory is therefore broader than immediate worldly victory.

It includes:

the preservation of truth, the triumph of faith, the establishment of justice, and the final judgment of Allah.

9. Islam Does Not Permit Injustice

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

This point is essential when discussing people who oppose Islam.

Islam does not teach Muslims to hate or attack every person who disagrees with them.

Allah says:

“Allah does not forbid you from being kind and just toward those who have neither fought you because of religion nor expelled you from your homes. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.”
Qur'an 60:8

And Allah says:

“Do not let the hatred of a people cause you to depart from justice. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness.”
Qur'an 5:8

Therefore:

Defending Islam does not mean committing injustice.

A Muslim can be firm in faith while remaining:

  • just;

  • honest;

  • merciful;

  • respectful;

  • peaceful toward those who are peaceful.

This is an essential part of Islamic character.

10. What Does It Mean to “Honor Islam”?

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

The true honor of Islam is not simply the number of Muslims.

It is seen when Muslims become examples of:

Tawhid

Worshipping Allah alone.

Prayer

Maintaining the obligatory prayers.

Knowledge

Learning the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah.

Justice

Refusing to oppress others.

Mercy

Treating people with compassion.

Honesty

Keeping promises and trusts.

Patience

Remaining firm during trials.

Good character

Reflecting the ethics taught by the Prophet ﷺ.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“I was sent to perfect noble character.”

Thus, one of the strongest ways to demonstrate the beauty of Islam is through excellent character.

11. Sayings of the Righteous About the Honor of Islam

Among the famous statements attributed to Umar ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه is:

“We are a people whom Allah honored through Islam; whenever we seek honor through something other than it, Allah will humiliate us.”

This statement became famous among scholars and preachers because its meaning is consistent with the Qur'anic principle:

“Honor belongs to Allah, His Messenger, and the believers.”
Qur'an 63:8

The lesson is profound:

Muslim dignity comes from obedience to Allah—not arrogance toward people.

12. The True Friends of Allah

The righteous scholars emphasized that sainthood is not established merely by extraordinary stories.

The Qur'an gives us the fundamental criterion:

“Those who believed and were mindful of Allah.”

Therefore, when reading stories about saints and righteous people, we should ask:

  • Did this person have faith?

  • Did he obey Allah?

  • Did he follow the Prophet ﷺ?

  • Was he honest?

  • Was he humble?

  • Did he avoid injustice?

  • Did he benefit people?

These qualities are more important than stories of miracles.

13. How the Righteous Served Islam

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

The great righteous people served Islam through:

Knowledge.

Teaching.

Worship.

Charity.

Justice.

Good manners.

Patience.

Helping the oppressed.

Calling people to Allah with wisdom.

Raising righteous generations.

This is why the greatest “miracle” of a righteous person is not necessarily something supernatural.

It is often something much more difficult:

Remaining obedient to Allah throughout one's entire life.

14. A Comprehensive Supplication for the Honor of Islam

O Allah, honor Islam and honor the Muslims.

O Allah, rectify the affairs of the Muslims and guide them back to Your Book and the authentic Sunnah of Your Messenger.

O Allah, make truth victorious, spread guidance, extinguish the fires of conflict, protect innocent people and support those who are oppressed.

O Allah, grant Muslims beneficial knowledge, righteous deeds, unity upon truth, wisdom and justice.

O Allah, make us among Your believing and God-fearing servants.

O Allah, make us people who bring goodness wherever we go and prevent evil wherever we can.

O Allah, strengthen us through faith, knowledge, patience and righteous action. Ameen.

Final Reflection

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

The authentic teachings of the Prophet ﷺ and the lives of the Companions and righteous people teach us a profound lesson:

The honor of Islam begins with the righteousness of its people.

If we want to serve Islam, we should begin with ourselves.

Pray.

Learn.

Repent.

Be truthful.

Help people.

Be just.

Protect the innocent.

Teach goodness.

Raise righteous children.

Avoid oppression.

And remain patient when difficulties come.

The Prophet ﷺ gave the believers hope that a group from this Ummah would continue to remain upon the truth until Allah's command comes. This is authentically reported in Sahih Muslim. (Sunnah)

The ultimate message is therefore not one of hatred or vengeance.

It is a message of:

Faith, truth, justice, patience, knowledge, mercy and steadfastness.

Introduction : la victoire de la vérité

  • à la foi ;

  • au savoir ;

  • à la prière ;

  • au Coran ;

  • à la Sunna ;

  • à la justice ;

  • à la vérité ;

  • à la piété.

C'est une immense source d'espérance.

  • la force de la foi ;

  • la patience ;

  • la volonté ;

  • la connaissance ;

  • la maîtrise de soi ;

  • la capacité de faire le bien ;

8. « Allah a écrit : Je triompherai »

  • foi ;

  • prière ;

  • savoir ;

  • justice ;

  • honnêteté ;

  • miséricorde ;

  • patience ;

  • bon comportement.

11. Parole célèbre de Umar ibn al-Khattab

Une parole célèbre attribuée à Umar رضي الله عنه dit :
